For 30 years, Homa Therapy Foundation has been teaching Agnihotra and Homa Therapy free of charge and creating a prototype Homa organic farm and ecovillage.

At a time of great change and chaos on our planet, the Foundation offers a sanctuary where people can come and learn techniques for self-improvement and living in harmony with nature. The foundation is focused on offering a solution to pollution, and a way to heal the environment through time-tested Vedic scientific methods. These methods in turn have a beneficial effect on our mental, physical and spiritual well-being.

Creating Centre of Light 

 We are building the Centre of Light on Foundation grounds to better serve the increasing number of people wishing to come and learn. The eco-centre is being built mainly with clay, straw and wood. It will provide a much needed venue where teachers, pioneers in ecology, therapists, scientists and artists can share their gifts for humanity and for our planet. A place where people can receive support for their personal transformation, at a time of great global transformation. 

Over the years, we have been able to educate and share our collective skills and environmental healing methods with literally thousands of people. Through our continued practice of ancient Ayurvedic science over the past 30 years, we provide the living proof that we can offer workable solutions which help correct, heal, nourish, and restore balance to whole eco-systems.

Our Eco Building

In 2015 we began construction of a double-octagon eco-building with mainly natural materials like wood, straw and clay. This large Environmental Educational Healing Centre will be capable of housing 36 guests. It will include a full-service vegetarian kitchen and dining area, a dedicated creative arts studio, a large seminar hall and workshop space as well as therapy rooms and sauna.

  • Wooden deck and cast iron balustrade
  • Windows and outer doors
  • Installation of floor heating 
  • Roof insulation
  • Plastering of ceilings
  • Electric and plumbing work
  • Tiling of kitchen, dining and art studio areas
  • Septic, grey water and drainage systems
  • Installation of 20 kw photovoltaic system in parking lot

What do we need to complete

  • Completion of 12 guest accommodation rooms
  • Kitchen equipment for our vegetarian kitchen
  • Equipment and supplies for the creative arts studio
  • An elevator for handicapped guests 
  • Wood and tile flooring and trim
  • Interior doors
  • Wood stairs finishing and bannisters
  • Light fixtures for entire building
  • Bathroom fixtures, showers, toilets and sinks
  • Furniture and bedding for bedrooms
  • Furniture for dining room, seminar rooms, etc.
  • Ground level deck

Thanks to donors from all over the world and the persistent and enthusiastic work of our volunteers, we have achieved so much. To open the doors to all of you, we still need to complete the interior and purchase equipment.
